They don't need it but that's the layer of organisation that they're incapable of fostering between themselves and in many cases the difference between something sticking and something not sticking.
The brexit lot used this line of argument too. Sure we're taking russian money, using russian channels and aligned with russian foreign policy and having dinner with all of these russians, but they just so happen to want what we want.
I get that you're invested in the idea of it all being impossible or absurd but the evidence is there across the world, not just in America. They've been agitating worldwide with the same tactics as part of their imperialist foreign policy. I don't understand why americans think they're above it all. They've got Pool and co bang to rights, so how come that bought and sold 'do my bidding' bullshit isn't happening with senators and congressmen and governors and whoever else?
