You're not wrong on the tenor of the previous and current thread. Just want to say that I agree with every single word you said, JoeBoy101 (and also agree, do stick around ComeAgain, you're a good poster), and it's something I found I was becoming guilty of too. A couple of weeks ago, GameBoy Nostalgia's post made me realise I was targeting Melody Shreds a little too much and I have completely stopped posting about him. He's ultimately weird and harmless.
However, I would make a counter-point.
The reason TheBore focusses on TransEra is pretty simple: they have taken over ResetEra.
Kyuuji, Clicky Cal, Volimar, plagiarize and a handful of other vicious voices, have managed to become such dominant loudmouths in the past 3 years that they have reshaped the entire discourse of ResetEra. Just a small group of people have the power to get anyone they dislike either banned or, failing that, dogpiled on.
Even now, we have the ridiculousness of one of the best selling games of all time, Hogwarts Legacy, referred to as 'The Wizard Game' by people in their late 30's and 40's for fear of upsetting TransEra.
So it's only natural that the loudest, nastiest voices command the greatest attention here on TheBore. Bullies get noticed.
Edit: Also, regarding the 'KYS' comments here on TheBore, I can't speak for the posters who have said that, but I'm pretty sure it's said out of frustration. A way of saying 'shut up and go away', not meant literally. At least, I hope so.
