Not because I like Trump or his policies or believe he is Pro Free Speech ( lol ), but because people will stop being such a pussies about their beliefs and how to support them. Hope Trump second term is a Vaccine rather than a chemo. Fight the virus with the virus.
Trump sucks.

But more than one thing can suck. And also we can rank them based on our relative preferences. And across multiple sets of preferences, Trump may suck less than others on some of those preferences and suck more on others.

We should defy zero-sum thinking whenever possible and reasonable. These morons don't and need everything to be zero-sum which is why they advocate for "solutions" that always make things more zero-sum, more all-or-nothing, more extreme-black-and-white, etc. They think this will force people to agree with them because they never consider the possibility that it will just make people refuse to show basic human decency and deny them the dignified lives they deserve simply for existing even more by forcing an existential choice.

They've framed everything as an existential conflict with "whites" or "centrists" or "chuds" or "cis" who all mindlessly lockstep support the same interests at the expense of everyone else and now they're in utter despair because enough of those people were supposed to vote to (supposedly) personally harm themselves. They didn't, which means everyone else now has to lose and people like Zaslav become even more powerful than they were before when they controlled everything. It's all status, nobody can be up without somebody else being forced down, if someone's doing well then someone else must be losing. The entire framing relies on enough of the majority sacrificing their own interests purely out of the goodness of their hearts. The problem couldn't be me, it couldn't be this framing, it's them and their refusal to do as I say. This is why democracy doesn't work: everyone else.
