Metaphor is a great game but it’s not some amazing treatise on statecraft nor is its underlying message remotely ‘liberal democracy is bad’. 

I’m still not entirely sure what that Alonzo fella was trying to achieve, but perhaps it’s similar to what Nepenthe is advocating after all.

Being fair, I don’t think that was Gene Park was implying with that title.
