Fugu is mostly sane, so I think their opinion is well intentioned (if it misses the mark).

I don’t think the show creates so much the problem than blaming people cynicism to it. The inability to distinguish reality from fiction seems to be a modern world concern, but I refuse to blame fiction and entertainment for that.
