Around 10 minutes in Mutahar talks about something I completely missed.
Xbox plans to phase out the original Xbox Series X before the refresh releases and with that there won't be a model with a physical disk drive anymore.

Geist for sure was underrated but the controls were quite poor for a 2005 game.

I often wonder why those types of games didn't catch on and why I don't remember them well. But the answer is obvious.
Half Life 2 and Call of Duty 2 were such a leap for FPS games that every FPS released after or around those two games just didn't hold up.
Without HL2, games like Perfect Dark Zero, Geist and others wouldn't have felt as dated.

Very interesting game as it released right between FPS games switching from the DOOM/Quake level based design to story telling like Half Life.
