That the people at the top don't actually totally despise each other always seems to surprise them. Although I doubt that Obama would ever hang with Trump like he does with Bush

The compelled speech doctrine specifically prevents the government from forcing individuals to "declare a belief" or "communicate acceptance of political ideas". The government can regulate conduct and impose consequences for actions, even if you don't "believe" in them lmao. Your personal beliefs about guilt, responsibility, or obligations or whatever is separate from the enforceable legal consequences of your actions.. even a child would understand this
Excuse me your honor, but I am not a citizen of the USA, I am a Man of the Land. And I will not pay this indecent exposure fine because nothing can truly be more indecently exposed to the Land than what already has been by the STATE. *Waits for dramatic slow clap from jury* and that child said she was 24.

Last few years have shown there is no leash. Especially if you're rich or have any iota of power.
You had a lady say "deny, defend, depose" nearly get her ass thrown in jail with a heavy fine. Musk can talk serious geo-political shit all day and "oh ho ho that Musk"
I believe the lady also said "you're next"
almost like there are very specifically defined rules and laws and people who are at least smart enough to game the system don't cross those lines
"wtf, I tell my neighbor I'm going to kill him and I get hauled off to jail, but musk gets to say he believes a legitimate political party might be the best choice for leadership of another country?! look at this double standard!!"
It's because we're talking about people who are very easily swayed by what they read on Twitter from celebrities and influencers and they think that everyone else is also a fucking retard that is swayed by what they read on Twitter. They also get the majority of their social interaction from a website that allows a select few people to dictate what can and cannot be discussed and what the accepted truth is without any debate allowed.
Of course they are afraid of someone like musk with his reach and wealth and celebrity.

I do not understand why these people hate us all so much. We have done nothing, All we do is exist, and we want to exist and be happy and live our lives. If I could live in a world away from them so they didn't have to bear witness to a queer person, I would. But I live here and this is my world as well, and why do I have to fight every single day to have the right to exist and not get harassed and why do my friend have to fight to exist and be called by the correct pronouns and why do any of us have to spend all of our energy trying to validate our existence because people who have it easier than all others in this world seem to just hate us because we exist.

That would be all well and good if that’s all your lot did, but it’s not, is it? You instead force your beliefs on others, and if they don’t kowtow you will harass their employers to get them fired and blacklisted across the public sphere. Why lie about this? You don’t want to “just exist” you want to create that separate world you pine for in this very post.
Maybe Bdubs will do some soul searching about why no one wants to make fun topics anymore and realize that the excessively strict moderation practices are to blame and do a policy update that lets everyone say the r word again and talk about harry potter?
it's all projection
it takes 10 minutes of reading era to see it's absolutely full of hate for anyone who isn't like them
they've steeped themselves in the idea of dogwhistles for so long that they can't hear normal frequencies anymore
when a judge says we can't compel teachers to use preferred pronouns, it's based on 1) respect and understanding of the constitution and law, 2) defending the rights of those teachers, which could easily come from a place of positive emotions rather than negative ones
the judge is not saying "you should abuse those students and call them the wrong thing," only that by law you literally can't compel them to use certain pronouns, I'm sure if a teacher IS abusive that's a different law/rule/statute they're breaking and they'll suffer the consequences for it
the judge is also obviously not saying "haha I hate those motherfucking trans people so much, this'll show em," but that's what era reads
