yes I know some models of teslas are seen as expensive luxury vehicles. the used market exists, hand-me-downs and inheritance exists. maybe they scrimped and saved for an EV hoping to do the responsible thing to save money on gas, long before anyone had a strong opinion on the owner

you realize everyone always talks about how musk has never actually built anything, he just buys shit? so how does it make sense to hold him responsible for the whole pre-existing company? what if he buys HP tomorrow and you have an HP laptop, are you selling it so that crazies don't smash it with a hammer? why are you allowing him to dictate how you live your life and the choices you make?

We've been talking about it the last few weeks, I know it sounds simple, but please give us a bit of time to get everything figured out. We're getting together for a meeting in a few days which is the first time we're all available, and we'll get everything sorted as best we can. There may be growing pains as we implement things, so please bear with us. I understand it's urgent, and I respect that. I want to do what we can to improve everyone's experience, and their mental health.

I want to say something on a personal level, and i know you're all feeling the same. I am physically and emotionally exhausted, I am running on fumes, and I don't want to speak for the rest of the staff, but I think it's fair to say that we're in an extreme crisis, and it's effecting all of us in the community, staff included. I love you all, and I'll do my best to get this and everything else on our plate done as soon as we can, it'll just take time.

Thanks for the update. I understand these things take time and it must be frustrating to see the same complaints come up time and again without being able to act on them or even be able to say "just wait for a bit." I'm just happy to hear its being discussed at all tbh. I can wait for any decision you reach now that I know you're aware of the issue.

I did mention this in a post a week or two ago in this thread, but I probably didn't make it clear enough. I really appreciate your patience, thank you.

Yeah, I don't think it really improved things in any meaningful way. We'll talk about it. It was a bit of a test to see how it would go.

Sorry, we're being pulled in so many directions at once with everything going on. We're talking about it everyday, and putting everything together a final list of who we're reaching out to who will hopefully be joining. I can't give you a time frame, but it won't be too long.

I think you miss the original point my crazy Uncle. It’s not whether I condone the violence, I just don’t believe in the premise that this will upset the “Majority of voters”, and I doubt that is the case given what the economy is going through, because the majority of voters care about the economy, than if an ugly electric car blows up.

Which is funny because when Stardust responded, he responded to my post that said the “Average voter didn’t own a Tesla”, and his response didn’t refute that statement.

I'm not gonna sugarcoat it for you. Dating is shit. Dating in 2025 is even shittier. I frankly can't even fathom the idea of trying to meet someone for the first time in this year because NOBODY is mentally healthy right now. We're all rowing our own little canoes down a river of liquid shit while rich people dance around on the sides throwing fiery bottles of liquor at the shit to make the smell even worse. Any conversation you could have with a date right now is probably going to be muted and low-energy because everyone is tired and scared and angry.

One of the biggest problems in dating is that everyone is someone's bad date. You could be the most charming person in the world and just not click with the person on the other side of the table from you for any number of reasons, justifiable or otherwise. Sometimes you could literally just meet someone on a bad day and it all goes sour. I still remember this one time when I took a girl out for dinner and she spent the entire meal watching the Olympics on the TV behind me. She may have been a nice person! I don't even know! But I never even considered texting her again after that meal.

I guess what I'm trying to say is this. Trying to judge yourself based entirely on your success dating isn't going to help. I know you said that hobbies haven't really been clicking for you but that just strikes me as you not finding the right ones. Have you considered finding a class to take? Trying to learn a new skill? When I was at my absolute lowest a few years back, and the only thing keeping me alive was literally wanting closure on Final Fantasy Versus XIII, I started taking comedy and improv classes and that turned into a decade-long chapter of my life where I met some amazing people and grew an incredible amount as an adult.

I'm not telling you to take comedy classes, to be clear. That may not be for you, and if it isn't, that's more than fine! But there are any number of things you could go out there and learn, with other people, and through those common interests and common learning processes you can make friends and find connections that will help peel that armor of loneliness off.
