Those splatoon chicks are kids as far as i can tell. And the players who post their messages and drawings that pop up in the hub areas are also kids. Peedos, all of Ree prominent members.

Pearl and Marina are 21 and 18. But I recall the creator of Splatoon said in an interview that they were famous popstars so they probably had boyfriends but that comment has been memory holed ages ago by these people.

Quote:Konami's frustrating in general, JP side too. Either side only does what they do because it sells, to be frank, less they have to be dragged kicking and screaming and more that they chase where the easiest money is, it's just the facts of what makes more money, unfortunately subsequent series haven't taken off around these parts like the first two or three did.
I'm so tired. Not like this!

Not a fan of TCG in general but:

1) Game is now too complicated because it has like 5 or 6 gameplay gimmicks.

2) Cards has little to no lore, so fans get attached to the characters of the anime… but the last two anime series have been not released to the west in mainstream TV/Streaming. So this shorts are necessary.

3)Pokemon and Magic seem to be more noob friendly, Magic has done well in making crossover expansions and Pokemon fans are Pokemon fans.

0)The franchise was better when Yugi was Wizard Teen Jigsaw:

"The importance of explicit gay sex in fiction"

Maybe just stop consuming media that's mainly aimed at kids

banabaman wrote:Personally, I have no need to have any sort of confirmation, especially in a game that doesn't have any sort of sexual content. It's kinda weird to be ascribing sexual behaviours and characteristics to non-sexual characters in non-sexual stories. If there are explicit confirmations for every character, then you have to accept that your personal interpretations of characters are now null and void and the very minor minority of explicitly LGBTQI+ characters is a very very very small pool of characters. So basically, if you get your way, then all the characters that are queer in my head are now no longer queer. Thanks for that.

Get 'em!

Jesus, what is with people like you thinking these discussions are inherently sexual??? It's cisheteronormativity that pushes who someone fucks defines them. "Sexuality" and "sexual orientation" basically just mean "romantic orientation" in most cases. It's not inherently about sex!

I honestly don't know how to touch your weird head canon stuff. Characters being defined explicitly hurts no one. You're falling into false dilemma territory. You can still head canon explicitly queer characters. The only problem is when you do it in a way that's invalidating to people that identify with the character. Which is pretty easy to not do as long as you're not being super weird about it.

This just makes me hate it all the more when queer creatives avoid labels for personal hangup reasons or a false/questionable sense of being inclusive. (Aevee Bee, I'm looking at you.)

God princechiclet is a weird one.

Somehow, in his world, sexuality isn't inherently sexual.

These people have such superficial irrelevant conceptions of themselves. I don't think I've ever been "represented" in fiction by any character. They'd respond "bububu there's all kinds of cishet male characters" and it's like, oh, that's all I am, huh? lol

Saying a character is gay or bi or a lesbian or trans (or hell, even straight) does NOT inherently imply anything about their "sexual behaviors". Kids can be gay. Kids can be trans. These kids need to be able to see themselves represented in media, yes even "non-sexual" video games.

Waterpuppy busy carrying water for señorbubblegobshite by laying the groundwork for a banning.

I like how nobody bothers to explain why so few trans people claim to be heterosexual. But then you see posts like that that helpfully explain that you can show an openly "gay kid" and it somehow says nothing about their sexual interests.

Gay = gay stereotypes I believe to be true.
Woman = woman stereotypes I believe to be true.
etc.

You don't have to tell on yourself this hard guys.

Princess Bubblegum is amongst those users that can post anything without getting banned. There was that classic post earlier this year about Ikumi Nakamura being gay (even though Ikumi Nakamura is married with a guy and had a child recently)

The beauty of threads like this is watching ree pretend they're good people.

Then you see the shit they were posting during the witch hunt

Quote:Yeah the fact that she has been using the movie as a vehicle for her hair products...

Always knew there was something off about Plantation Barbie. Ryan is either complacent or willfully ignorant about her.

Plantation Barbie.

Some classic victim blaming -

Entrement wrote:It's not that.

The issue is that Justin wanted the more raw message on DV. But Blake and company disagreed.

But it seems he's being freezed out by the cast, which could hurt his professional reputation. Remember, this is an industry known for shunning and blacklisting. And Blake and her husband are very influential.

Quote:It's a fucking mess but at this stage, it seems Baldoni is mostly faultless here and he's being big time'd.

Quote:Oh man having Ryan who probably has a lot of pull definitely makes it sounds like control freak issue. Perhaps a superiorty complex where using Ryan's influence made Blake feel like she should have more control?

Quote:No one does passive aggressiveness like rich white women.

That's just the 1st page. These are not chuds. Not incels. Not women hating basement dwellers. These are far left progressive feminist allies on the right side of history.

The damning thing is less about being good or bad. It’s how gormless and gullible they are. Their self identity is so fragile a PR team can mold them into bots to disseminate the message of whomever is paying. In seconds they’d believe there were five lights.
