Some of us may be feeling protective, because a lot of Ramsey's criticism is they don't find them pretty enough or social media attacking a non-binary, gay actor.

Not everyone has to like a performance, but I think people should chill sometimes, suggesting Ramsey should lose a job, and express their opinion with some tact instead.

Trump didn't win because of left-winger accelerationists. He won because A.) liberals stayed home in every single swing state, and B.) White conservatives/independents' racism got activated against Kamala. These are really not the same groups of people.

Secondly, it is good to recognize that capitalist enterprises cannot always support minorities as a principle because they are operating under an economic and political context where oppression is literally necessary for capitalism to function as it does. You should've never actually trusted corporations from the jump, but better late than never on figuring that out.

And doing research doesn't necessarily mean you have awareness. What I mean by this is that I don't expect, say, a marine biologist to inherently be aware of the major contradictions of capitalism and their own behaviors thay conform to that system just because they are neck deep in the act of researching. Rosa researching the laws and history of a place to lend credence and inspiration to a preexisting story does not inherently mean he would have been expressing awareness, much less a desire, to pursue themes related specifically to decolonialism at the time of writing. Indeed, I can't imagine awareness of this process was all that high outside of militant African, Indigenous, and Asian circles.

They very much so control the messaging happening across platforms, media, and IRL. You'll come across the one or two absolutist true to the principle, but most are immediately clenching assholes and balling up fists if my black dreadlocked ass gets up there and starts really laying into White Supremacy. That shit makes them uncomfortable as hell, and they dont like it because the only real retort that can come from that is playing into the identity of being oppressive.

Being prideful of a history of oppressive behavior rather than culture, it reveals them as the assholes they are in that moment in time. What we are continuing to find out is that they may have more company than initially expected.
