For what it’s worth the containment thread was in response to people asking for it here and elsewhere on the forum. Not sure where I implied Trump’s actions don’t affect the world either, I’ve said the opposite numerous times and live in a country heavily influenced by US politics.

It explicitly wasn’t for proper news either, as it said in the thread. I get the not wanting to miss things being posted though. Just surprised that if it was such an immediate hard-line stance the people asking about it here weren’t responded to.
