Don't see a harm in trying. Sure, people may have not voted due to foreign policy, and people may have voted due to economics, but I believe most would be against US invasion of another nation. I don't see the risk in bringing it up. If you are in a union, mentioning it to other union members. If you work at all, mentioning it to other people you work with. If enough voices give it some momentum I think we'd all be pretty against war on our own soil.

You couldn't even get people to take 20 minutes out of their day fill in a bubble on a piece of paper dude. People have been going on about a general strike for years now and it's literally never happened. It's almost like an excuse not to do anything real, "We tried to do a general strike" and just stop there. It'd be easier, and probably more effective, the organize a campaign to contact members of Congress about opposition to this crap Trump is pulling. Shit needs to happen before it gets to the point you're talking about.
