This is related to some other thoughts I've been having, I wish I could my own video games, I wish I could make lesbian and wlw focused video games that RRPGs (Romance RPG) and Action RPGs, an all-wlw woman fighting game with a dating sim that wasn't TNA, my dream horror Dinosaur game etc. But I can't, I don't have the talent to make games, the ability, the resources, the money and even if I did, I simply would not want to be in that environment, especially AAA gaming right now, I wouldn't want to have to compromise to bigoted who tech bro CEOs telling me lesbians don't sell to, "tone it down", "Well our "market research" suggests..." etc (not to mention how toxic game development is now with crunch culture, layoffs, Gen AI taking jobs, bad management etc).

It's infuriating because I get older, I feel like I'm never going to get anything close to my dream games, no studios want to make them, no one cares about big budget RRPGs or non fan-service all-women fighting games, not unless I do it myself... But I can't do it myself, the best I can do is maybe write about in the form of a novel (I am) or forum posts here but their is little I can do. I can't program for shit, I love drawing monster but I can't pose for shit, due to my social anxiety I'm terrible at pitching and struggle in big teams, the only thing I'm good at is writing and I'm not sure I'd want to write for these big companies, especially given how writers don't seem to be respect that much.

Does anyone else have these types of issues or is this just a me thing?

Hecht loves to take pride in his double-agent work across the hate sites. He is also sort of half-assedly active on Era (like blueball is here).

On the other hand, Blueball's language pulls its punches in a way that suggests they are not altogether opposed to our way of being...and in donning the guise of chairman Benji, I suspect a certain affinity for leadership. So that says B-Dubs to me.

It definitely ain't the most obnoxious usual suspects. They have too many obvious tells that would have surfaced by now. And they certainly would've been a lot more active.

Biggest highlight of the day:
+ Local chapter of the BNI business club wants me to join as the AI expert, these are GREAT PEOPLE. MANY OPPORTUNITIES.

Helped an old friend that wants to start a business figure out how to make it work because he's a broke stoner, he was like: 
"Wow Nintex, you're the first one who wasn't all negative and actually gave me some good advice!"
+ Weather was great, sun is out again, dropped the window blasting EDM at volume 30 as I drove into the city
+ Launched a product for a very big international client in 12 markets, our contact is now promoted and she's a big fan of us
+ Clinched a 60k deal today against 2 competitors
+ Had a bunch of fun meetings with co-workers, congratulated them all on a job well done
+ Put hats on everyone with the Galaxy S25 Ultra AI feature
+ Exploring DEEPSEARCH, this is awesome
+ Took mom to the eye clinic, all went well
+ As I waited for her, talked to her neighbour about cool Japanese cars (I drive a Lancer, he has a Mazda now)
+ Stonks up 15% / Nvidia up 10%
+ TRUMP  

+ Prepping the trip to my bro in Canada
+ Increased the weight on the dumbbells again

I guess within the game it's not really a retcon (you could argue it just never came up) but there are some YouTube comments from the official developer account where they said there aren't any gay romance options in KC 1 because you roleplay as Henry and Henry is straight.
Now with KC 2 the devs say "Henry is you" so the player should have as many options as possible. 

So the devs definitely flip flopped but at the same time it's seems a bit much to get upset about a completely optional romance option.

Though it is also kind of funny that the devs never even advertised this and all the ads are very focused on Henry getting up to stuff with women, so if they did this to expand their audience they kind of forgot to tell that new audience
