In other words, the only reason to use these terms is to make a distinction and the only reason to make that distinction, outside of a few contexts, is a value judgment, so sexism or worse.
So what's more logical? That ppl have prejudices and bigotry and invent ways to express them, or that all the dudes on the wrong side of this have a real good reason (pinky swear) for establishing the doctor, cook, lawyer, nurse actress, soldier, cop, etc is "a female"? You're losing me. This is flat-out nonsense. There's nothing wrong with describing a woman in a male-dominated job (e.g. female pilot) as being so, and "actress" is completely fine to use as well. You're literally just describing a person in an obvious way (gender). And in many languages, feminine variants of nouns are important to not erase the presence of women in those fields. Morrigan seems to have a problem with Era's trans members.

You know I always thought ResetEra was sort of a bad apples kind of deal especially because some folks seemed on the level in the (Neo)GAF days.
BUT, it's been a while and I have concluded that they're all retarded. Every single last one of them

You don't even need to go to the Arabs, the Ottomans and their predecessors practiced settler colonialism across Anatolia and the Balkans for over a thousand years that wasn't finished until a final series of genocides in the 1920s because the Turkish state never figured out how to incorporate non-Muslims on an equal basis. The Pontic Greek/Assyrian/Armenian genocides were the literal blueprints for Hitler.

When I got married, I got these responses from just a few people. These were likely people in unhappy relationships generalising. Then when children came along, they would do the doom-and-gloom routine again. We just surrounded ourselves with people who actually like being married or like having children.

Nah. You're just missing the point. The thing this question should make clear to everyone is that there are a lot of instances where dehumanizing women is considered "ok" and because it is said, because as one dipshit here put it, "it feels right", people continue to do it and cyclically claim that doing it a whole lot is why it's okay.
This same logic is used to justify every slur and every dehumanizing word in our collective lexicons, thank you English. This same phenomenon occurs with the word "pussy" which should never be used to refer to a person, it's inherently debumanizing and misogynistic, but where pop culture and dipshits everywhere might get the memo about some slurs, they will happily pivot to others and do the whole routine all over again.
Every single dehumanizing word, from the N word, to the R word, has this exact same debate made about it and the people trying to make it ok, let alone ignore it, are wrong pretty much fucking always. "Female" used in a colloquial sense, as a noun, is not exclusively a slur and I am not claiming it is.
But that's the case sometimes, right? Innocuous seeming words getting coopted as cultures tee up a new round of catastrophic dehumanization. Sometimes this is even intentional, as we've seen repeatedly with words like woke, acronyms like CRT and DEI.
The bigot, the oppresser, is the one who invents the new dehumanizing code. The people who use it are on their side, never mine. I work really fucking hard to drive dehumanizing words out of my language and it's not easy but so fucking what? Cry me a river about how sometimes the best path ain't the one with the least resistance.
I only call people dangling pieces of fecal excrement in a non-dehumanising way
