Actually been pretty interesting to see how ads differ in America vs briefly in Europe vs Japan. For one, the app adds a new icon for the AI thing. Two, there is a dramatic increase of ads. Without exaggeration, about 10x as frequent. Three, ads in Japan were almost exclusively legit companies. Now I’m getting random users buying ads to promote themselves. Four, dismissing ads was selecting “not interested.” That was that. What I get now is a constant pop up saying by subscribing I won’t see ads. And the ads I dismiss tend to return.

The silver lining here is the user experience is so bad I’ve been using it less.

Bonus five, so many gambling and sports betting ads.
