Navalny died in prison.  Please tell me more about how nice the chandeliers are in the Moscow train station, though.

A message from Paradise.

Although in Putins Russia you can never be sure if this woman is planted by the FSB to rile up the crowds so they have reasons to arrest them.

I find it fascinating that lots of people are saying: "Woah, I can't believe this is happening in Russia" when this is basically how it has always been, except for the few years their leader was too drunk to effectively manage the police state or the few times they needed friends to prevent a total collapse of the motherland (early Putin rule, Gorbachev).

And Russian regimes always collapse the same way, fighting an ill conceived war to distract the population that they can't win as easily as they had hoped.

Co-worker of mine talked to some friends doing charity work in Ukraine.

They went there a couple of times but the situation now is worse than before.
Obviously people are fed up with this war and the Russians but they blame their own politicians and generals for military failures, false expectations and losses too.

There are food shortages (which is what their charity work is about) and as a thank you for the food they were given a couple of fancy "made in the US" hand grenades.
Small arms and grenades are basically everywhere and used as a commodity to trade with merchants.

On the frontlines the shortage of heavy weaponry is starting to bite and the Russians are breaking through on multiple fronts.
Overall the locals think the war won't take much longer unless a foreign power steps in one way or another.

Putin Of course we had no idea this was coming so I will have to carefully consider it comrades

Quote:Transnistria's "Congress of deputies" has asked Russia for "protection" against "growing pressures" from Moldova. They complained of a supposed "humanitarian crisis" caused by Chisinau taxes on trade. Moldova govt dismissed the event as "propaganda"

Lol what's happening in the UK, some sort of pro-Hamas clown tankie won an election crushing both Labour and the Tories emboldening the anti-semites.

So now Sunak is announcing a police crackdown on protests and a 'threat' to democracy.  lol
Another librul banker cuck reaping what he sowed.

Which only emboldens this guy more

By-elections here are notorious for registering odd results and protest votes that don't reflect what will happen in general elections.

Helluva turnout for his funeral.

I know assassination is off the table because heads-of-state going after each other would instill chaos, but seriously couldn't we have dumped some circuitous cash on the Russian PMC that was already pissed at Putin, and just done what we done-already-did in Central and South America?
