Hello my friend just get a normal PC that has comparable or even better specs than a PS5 Pro does
It has emulation, backwards compat, hook it up to the tv, hook up your controller, better options, online gaming is free, games are generally cheaper on pc

I generally don't play AAA games (certainly not at release) and most games I play on PC are strategy or retro games, so my need for a new gaming PC is minimal right now. My laptop seems a little more capable than I thought, so I hope I will be able to run SM2 on that and then spend on a good gaming PC in a couple of years time.
Hopefully by then this shit generation will be over and we can have some decent consoles that have some games.

You have far above the minimum spec which says 1080p at low. Should be fine assuming you have an ssd.
Just buy it on steam and if it doesn’t run you can just refund it.

I would download the 'demo' and find out if it runs well. If it does, just buy it on Steam.
Steam also has a 2 hour refund window so you could just buy it outright and test it 
But I think it will run fine

That should run just fine, mid settings @ 1080p, perhaps higher even. Only issue is the memory, so keep textures low but those specs blow the Series S out of the water and should be on par if not better than the Series X. Just turn off any power saving modes and make sure it's on 'performance' mode or whatever it is called on your laptop.
That laptop can run 99.99% of the games out right now just fine, in fact the RTX3060-series is the most popular GPU on Steam and probably what most developers are targetting anyway. Just update the drivers, Nvidia usually has great presets that are applied automatically. Don't overestimate the PS5/Xbox Series X, they're not that impressive and most games have to run on the ghetto Series S too.
