I know it's probably a cliched response, but literally "who is picking up the trash and doing other shit jobs?" They'll never have an answer for that. People will do it because their dream is to collect trash, wash dishes, or some other menial or disgusting task? Will they crunch on video games so they can get the same share of society's bounty as everyone else? Or do we somehow incentivize them more with increased carrot/sugar cup rations? I mean, the whole system seems like capitalism with extra steps.

Then you've got the problem of implementing this on any moderately large scale, and it all falls apart. This stuff works for small Oneida-like communities (who then use the capitalist system to fund themselves by making silverware and selling it) but as someone else said, on a NYC scale it doesn't work. Someone needs to coordinate things, which seems like a pain in the ass, so again you will need to compensate them with extra carrots, essentially just creating the capitalism they hate.

I was going to mention this the other day but forgot and forgot again but remembered now. Her utopia includes a massive entity that at some point produced and continues to maintain global scale infrastructure even as nobody works anything but the minimum and there's no official coercion of any kind:

I'm also ignoring that for every community to have everything it needs located nearby itself presupposes such an entity. Some things simply are not possible at some locations. I mean this in the most mundane ways possible, like you aren't fishing in the ocean from a desert mountain community or acquiring that gas where there isn't any located. You simply aren't providing electricity everywhere without a resource network.

Someone must be coordinating this, but her world includes nothing but local entities and she's inherently ruled the market to be verboten. Someone must have placed all the cities, all the amenities, etc. and connected them. But her world has no systems or institutions to have done this in the first place. She's literally assuming in some God who does Creation and sets things in motion and then disappears to allow humans to enjoy the Eden that somehow cannot break down nor allow the laws of economics (or physics) to ever operate.

This is to say she's essentially assuming America (or Europe, some stand-in for modern civilization's peak), deploring it for not having things it already does and she refuses to use or participate in, then calling for its replacement with an inherently contradictory society that she elsewhere also claims will necessarily have less resources and less people to accomplish all this.

And the entire purpose of her thought experiment is not to imagine a better way and especially not how it could be achieved, it's to imagine people actually thinking her art that she currently doesn't produce is intrinsically valuable and important and that everyone will be her friends just like in Bluey.

One of the most shocking things for me is how few people have noticed that Marx is it. I have to assume that's where the modern Left and MAGA etc. got it from rather than the original millenarianism. 

I think it's most noticeable in how many of the Left attacks on science sound exactly like Creationism/Intelligent Design/etc. 

It's just funny to me how many people see themselves as these edgy radicals who do deep critique of everything and expose the narratives and none of them have apparently ever realized their alternative central narrative is one about a coming grand battle between the Chosen and the corrupted Evil after which we have Heaven on Earth since the systemic forces of Satan humanity has been plagued with since the Fall have finally been vanquished and purged from the True Believers who remain.

I've played guitar as a hobby of sorts since around 2018, ive been playing longer than I've been called Melody even! I play on a rather inexpensive ESP LTD since it was about the best i could afford with my limited means even then. (and thats when i could still work)

its been fun but i've had a hard time keep to it. Anyone have any advice for an up and coming trans woman heavy metal guitarist?(wannabe)

I guess I should clarify that while is still don't feel totally comfortable on the fret board I did manage to learn several riffs from Iron man including the main one. It was a nice feeling when I finally nailed all the power chords back to back. I need to play more but it can be hard with poor mental health, mental disorders and autism. I try though and maybe I'll be the first mentally ill disabled trans woman to shred guitar at a metal show lol

Been called Melody but can't play a simple melody on the guitar to save his life.

He has some dogshit low end LTD. I mean it's probably better quality than the low end models now but still not that great. With the amount he spends on figurines and games he could get a decent guitar if he saved his money. But then again, he needs money for "food" when he lives with his parents. I feel bad for them with all of his delusions.
