Agreed, game is actually great. Just some undeserve hate it's been getting here. The attractive characters is just a plus but it's far from the only thing it offers as it has nice gameplay, music, amazing monster designs, and a interesting little story with good character design. Also great art from the same artist who did Blade and Soul. There's plenty of crappy steam games where they only have attractive characters but they'll never reach any decent numbers because that's all they offer. And I bet that new Dead Or Alive Extreme game won't even get over 1 million since it doesn't offer anything else besides the characters.

Wukong seems more like the odd one out in that lineup. Sure that game sold a lot but so do CoD and Fifa. Also don't get the "it finally gives chinese games the recognition they deserve" as if Mihoyo games aren't huge international hits already.


Anyway in terms of snubs I really would've loved to see Granblue Fantasy Relink get the nod anywhere. Game really went under a lot of people's radar it seems. Unfortunate.

I wouldn't even put them together since CoD and Fifa are just the exact same every time while Wukong at least has a fantasy story with great monster and character designs. It's not in my top 3 for this year but it's perfectly understandable why it deserved to be a good game. I agree with Granblue Fantasy Relink. While it's also not in my top 3 but I did had more fun with it than I thought. It was actually my first game this year too. A great start for a AA budget game. I was able to beat everything except the Lucilius update.
