Gullible marks like you guys who think socialism will work if we just try it one more time no matter how many times it fails and nobody can explain how it's supposed to even work are the reason we'll never get rid of it or people like your fellow socialists at ResetERA.com. You always assume that you must be exempt from the laws of material reality, not bound by it like the Soviets or CCP were.
Also why DOGE is doomed to similar "victory" by press release conditions. edit: There's also the irony of posturing that you're combatting the "experts" when your position is that the "experts" judgement should substitute for the American people's and the latter not be allowed to choose.
Remember that many newly elected leaders have never talked to Trump and are used to boring letters and conferences not 4AM calls to ask how Barron can improve his Spanish or if their windmills are also killing the birds.

All these experts sure kept quiet when Biden was spending us into some of the worst inflation in US history. I know Benji, it was all Trumps fault. ![]() Quote:Kritzman said that using government stimulus money to help the economy rebound during the pandemic made sense, given the unprecedented circumstances. “People really didn’t know if we were going to have a 1930s-type depression, so the government erred on the side of more stimulus than less stimulus,” he said. Blaming Biden for the stimulus packages as if it was just regular government spending is disingenuous. That study is pointing out exactly what I said. It was a bubble caused by governments printing money to keep economies afloat during the pandemic. It wasn't just the US, it was every government in the world all at the same time and the effect was entirely predictable. The alternative to printing money was possibly entering a worldwide depression which is why Biden and other world leaders didn't have a choice.

They are attempting to predict when inflation becomes visible, not what caused it. (Because it's always and everywhere a monetary phenomenon.) Not sure who you think you're arguing against here, but I'm not really interested in "your party's victory over the overeducated elitists" or whether "experts" got their polling right or not. I'm interested in discussing the potential for Trump's policies to really start fucking up the world's economy just as inflation is starting to come down. The problem is Trump's bullshit will likely have a positive effect initially, but by year 3 of his term shit will start hitting the fan as sustained inflation keeps eroding your savings and spending power. I know you said you're middle aged, but I hope you don't plan on retiring soon because you might need to keep working for a few more years just to stand still with your retirement nest egg.

You're weird boomer.
Did you really sign up to the smallest forum on the Internet only to post lame MAGA shit and have the tinyest of circle jerk with Nintex? You'd get way more likes on r/Conservatives. The sole point of this forum is to discuss Nep's circular carrot economy and Melody's latest fundraiser. ![]()

Actually what you have been posting about the Ukraine war and inflation is not all correct. Trump and Kudlow had a V-shaped recovery worked out but the globalists scrapped that in favor of the Build Back Better plan. Post-COVID recovery funds were all tied to DIE, LGBTQ+, climate stuff, 15 minute cities and other nonsense cooked up by the consultants. You can look at the German economy to see how that panned out. The money was printed yes, but very little was spend and a lot of what they spend had no meaningful benefit for production or the economy. The same was true for taking in millions of refugees who ended up unemployed on welfare benefits. With regards to Ukraine, energy prices had risen sharply after Biden scrapped Keystone and greenlit Nordstream 2. This resulted in plans to use US LNG to be scrapped and meant that Russia could continue to dominate the EU energy market. Putin jokingly asked the Germans how they would heat their homes without firewood, coal, nuclear energy, gas or other forms of fossil fuels. With Germany shutting down its nuclear power plants, the Russians got an even bigger share of the EU energy markets and their profits soared allowing Putin to deploy and pay for his armies. As for the answer to how Germany would heat their homes, the answer is they wouldn't. German industrial production has cratered, it is way too expensive to manufacture anything in Germany putting key industries like chemicals, construction and cars at risk. Governments are spending like crazy to keep energy prices low enough for households but that causes inflation. Even arms production has not really picked up, Germany is way behind their delivery scheduled for refurbished military gear let alone new vehicles. Expensive energy fucked all of us and is the source of all the economic problems we're currently facing. Energy is the one thing you need for anything you want to do and it has been strategically dismantled by the green parties and communists. Once there is energy abundance inflation will reverse.
