In one short year Iran has lost Hamas, Hezbollah, the Assad regime and their own fair defence systems. Can't help but imagine the prospect of a free Iran at that point.

But you cant imagine a free Palestine eh?

This poster is passively justifying Israels atrocities and warcrimes. They're not being slick. In one "short year" a genocide happened and they want to tie Irans liberation with it. Please, have some respect.

From the point of view of the Syrian people, Hezbollah and Iran are enemies. It is good, for Syria, that Israel damaged it so badly. Palestine suffering under Israeli genocide doesn't negate that. I too look forward to a free Iran, which as you might recall, was attempted recently and the protests were brutally crushed.

I also hope for a free Palestine, but right now we're in a thread celebrating Syrian freedom, so maybe it makes sense we're looking at Iran's axis from that point of view. Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran and Russia's conditions directly led to the liberation of Syria. We're allowed to celebrate that.

As I am allowed to call out those with privilege that tokenize our deaths as some collective win against Iran. Era has a liberal problem, one that is so selective in who deserves justice and who gets left by the wayside. A genocide is still happening and some people have the audacity to link it to our liberation. I pray i never argue that hundreds of thousands of dead Americans is a "good thing" to happen on your behalf. Hamas has nothing to do with Syrias liberation or Irans fyi, its what triggered this nonsense.

so, "prevent crime" means to set right the wrongs that occur when laws are broken, and much of the law does in fact revolve around who owns a thing and who has damaged it or stolen it or deprived someone else of value/benefits that legally belong to them

so yes, protecting capital is the same thing as preventing crime

if you meant police tend to provide more benefit to the wealthy or to large corporations, there are much better ways to express that belief
