Add that one to the latest rumor that Skull & Bones was $800+ million  lol

But my bro said that $400 million for Concord is a low estimate. They really expected to create a multi-billion dollar franchise.
So he wonders if that $400 million figure even includes the CG trailers, Season Passes / DLC, "supervising" the Amazon TV show and all the other Concord initiatives at Sony, like the Limited Edition Controller and cameos and DLCs for other games. There was going to be a Concord x Helldivers tie in for example.

But yes video game development has gotten crazy expensive because with global releases and multiple platforms QA is basically all hands on deck these days.

It looks like the Dragonball Z game is going to outsell everything else.

All 3 versions of the game are trending above COD on PS5, #1 on many top sellers lists like Steam and Amazon.

Tried like 25 of the games in UFO 50. Not really feeling it so far.

The best games I've played so far are on the level of a good flash game you'd play on Newgrounds back in the day. Think the critic score just set my expectations too high. It's like a bunch of 6/10 games, some 7/10 games and the occasional 8/10 game. Still a good deal for 50 cents a game.

Maybe there's a game that'll really hook me in the other 25 games.

Got the crt hooked up to play some Silent Hill 2. Blows me away how good these old games still look when you play them on a crt.

Playing them on a hdtv really does them a disservice. You go: " Wow, I don't remember these games looking this bad." and you're actually right on that assessment. Back when you played them in 2001 you had the tv to match.

Depends on the quality of the CRT and the method of input though. SCART RGB is always the best in PAL land.

With the right TV and cables  Delicious

Too much hassle to hook up a CRT for me though. At some point I got a RGB SCART switch, modded RGB cables for the SNES/MegaDrive etc. and barely used any of it.
Sure Sonic 3 & Knuckles is cool but not cool enough to pull all that stuff from storage. I also fear that by now most cartridge batteries are dead so if I keep the SNES RPGs in storage I can pretend they are still working until they've all been remastered in some way.

My OLED luckily has a good scaler for everything that's not HD on Switch. Most folks have poorly calibrated their 4K TVs. They're always surprised that if I fiddle with the remote for 5 minutes I can improve how it looks by a lot.

Metaphor is already goated. Probably a real GOTY contender. Dont sleep on it.

Releasing a fighting game in 2024 without crossplay and most of the reviews don't mention it.

Fucking hack reviewers. None of them can be trusted to fight for consumers.

I was going to buy New World Aeternum. I enjoyed the beta but apparently it's servers are dead. It barely gets updates and there's no future road map. So Metaphor it is.
