I dunno how happy is EA that the last game from BioWare is strongly associated with the TransMovement, specially because companies are losing the patience with DEI initiatives. 

It didn’t have to this way, I think people have mentioned that Space Marine 2 was written by a trans person, and people like that game.

Generally I imagine they'll really question what's the point of it is. For years one big argument by activists has been that when you add more inclusivity that you'll get more customers but that has pretty much proven to be untrue by now. At least not with their understanding of inclusivity which often means removing something the core fan base liked. 
Space Marine 2 certainly did it right in that regard.

Having worked in the multicultural space what these nincompoops don't seem to understand is that the diversity in DEI doesn't mean "make it black and gay" it means attracting a diversity of thought to the workplace. 

Well, no, that is what the diversity in the DEI push means. Because these people believe that Black people and gay people and whatever else group you want (except white cishet males and increasingly white cis women) have unique knowledge and understanding that is completely inaccessible to anyone else. (Which is why you can't question it, you simply must do as you're told.) And this unique inaccessible knowledge is the same mandatory "left-wing" "progressive" "socialist" beliefs as those seeking power have. They aren't just catastrophizing when they think anti-DEI means no Black people anymore because they believe it's the mere presence of a Black person that brings enhanced spiritual knowledge to any group. They're simply inverting the belief that marginalized groups are somehow lesser (or say, marginalized) and insisting not that they're normal like all of us but instead spiritually advanced beings who can see into the true cosmic forces of the universe.

What they absolutely don't understand, because they never believe their good intentions can lead to bad results, is how this creates a racialized caste and quota system that is enforced over any natural populations that form. And since diversity of thought has no place in their diversity it makes it even more rigid and artificial to demand that every population has at least 13% Black people and all are far-left by some Bluesky definition. Much like the trans self-ID/self-diagnosis/socialism/ResetERA.com/etc. stuff it's a system that seems almost purposely constructed for being exploited by people acting in bad faith but they demand it be mandatory because "imagine how it would work if everyone was perfectly good and flawless" as if this is somehow a rational argument for something.

It isn't a coincidence that Meta created a TikTok account for Facebook the day OF the ban — complete with a verification tag and everything. And today is the first time Meta's advertisements were visible on TikTok. Moreover, they gave users the option to link their TikTok account to their Facebook/Instagram account.

Now this prompt shows up when you try to access TikTok from any Meta app. With the recent updates to Instagram adopting a few TikTok features (e.g. a more rectangular display feed), there's no doubt that there's something going on behind the scenes with Zuck and ByteDance's sudden pivot to working with the Trump administration following the election.

Case-in-point, capitalism is going to capitalism and these corporations are all playing the same game.
