Even if their sequels were flops (well, The Marvels was. WW84 seems to have done well on streaming), Batman v Superman and Justice League were disappointments, but nobody seems to question Batman or Superman getting new movies (even before The Batman, before people bring that up).

Even if you remove criminality from the picture, by definition the status of these people are kind of defined by how they, y'know...fled. From one place to another. Like, that's the key thing they did that we're all talking about.

Probably not an insane precaution to prevent them from running away (again). 

That said I'm not sure they needed to be cuffed, hands-and-feet, while sitting on a plane. I doubt any of them got flight lessons while they were stateside, anyway.

Ignoring how those movies were profitable (capitalism!), when there’s a history of success, a fluke is a fluke. There’s a reason they’re rebooting Tomb Raider again after the last reboot didn’t do well. They have those Jolie movies to point to. Two big reasons right there.

I believe, for the most part, people just wanted to be sold. If I wanted to take my wife out to see this, I'm looking down the barrel of a $150+, a 50 mile round trip, and 4-5 hours of my weekend. For whatever reason, they didn't have a satisfying answer teed up for literally the 1st question that everyone was going to ask. Folks here have been giving better answers of why a chimp and they've, shirley, spent less time with it.

He probably could have given the same answer Daniel Radcliffe gave for playing Weird Al with minimal amount of alterations.
