He expects me to believe that Dorito Pope is desperately going down the list of employees at every studio trying to find someone, anyone, who will appear? Meanwhile, GDC and all the other events happen where they'll willingly go in rooms with known lunatics. Lastly, how in the world is this "access to game developers"? Some dude on a stage presenting his trailer is supposed to be me getting "access" to them?

I will say it's really dumb of Sony not to attend Gamescom. Its nice to get back in touch with the fans and give them the ability to play or see the newest games coming up.

You’d have to be an idiot to go to spend hundreds on gamescon tickets to get a preview of a game coming out in a few weeks.
BioWare’s got to be on suicide watch after the layoffs and balders gate 3. Next Dragon Age is going to be an embarrassment for the company.

PlayStation Portal pricing
199.99 USD | 219.99 EURO | 199.99 GBP £50 less than a full priced Switch. Who the fuck pays that much for a WiiU controller?

What Skyrim set piece would you demo in 20 minutes? This ignorance is hilarious

It's how they did showfloor demos for games like GTAV, Breath of the Wild, Assassins Creed: Origins etc. . Just recently Nintendo did it for Tears of the Kingdom previews. You just create a bunch of interesting save states with a time limit.

Showfloor demo's for GTAV? After the PS2 days there has literally never been a showfloor playable demo of a GTA game at big events. Also Bethesda's games aren't anything like Breath of the Wild, GTA V or Assassins Creed. Get a grip man. What is your gripe against this game? Sad it's not coming out for the Pony system or whats going on here?
It's great content, you should watch it.
Clickbaity title though because he praises the game and Todd Howard. Starfield is DOOMED.... DOOMED to be the greatest game Bethesda ever made You act like it's entirely impossible to make a playable demo of an open world game. That's nonsense. It has been done many times, maybe not by Bethesda for every game but they often made preview builds for the press and other developers do it all the time. Of course what Bethesda does (scripted walkthrough video) works too but it's better to have people actually play the game instead.

I've not been as hype for a game since cyberpunk as I am for starfield, and I know it's gonna be a fucking shit show at launch too

They've been cooking for 8 years, dedicating their lives to this. In polish mode for over 9 months, with extra help from ID on graphics tech and MS on the QA side, how can this be less than their most polished game? Maybe I'm laying the bar too high but as confident as they have been with the 45 minute direct showing of gameplay, which is probably one of the longest and best produced showing of a game since the Rockstar trailers showing off gameplay systems in their games, and sending out review copies two weeks ahead of launch I'm pretty confident. I think they learned a lot from their mistakes in Fallout 4 as well. So happy we don't have a shitty voiced protagonist again this time.
I wasnt a big fan of Fallout 4 at all, but Todd and his team haven't made a bad game yet
I really hope so because the Xbox Series generation has been a wet fart so far.
Microsoft seems confident enough as of late but they were also confident about Redfall and HALO Infinite. And while I enjoyed the HALO Infinite campaign quite a bit it wasn't exactly the groundbreaking system showcase it could've been.

Redfall looked like trash from the start imo, and Halo infinite has never looked good to me either.
I mean Halo looked allright, but 343i havent made a Halo game I liked. Halo Reach is the last good Halo game, convince me otherwise.

Well, some of the older HALO games weren't the best looking games of their generation but they did introduce a lot of new mechanics and awesome set pieces that people still talk about today. HALO Infinite doesn't even have a Scarab fight. It only has 'bandit camp' size engagements. Playing the events that take place before the story of Infinite would've been more interesting. Perhaps as flashbacks once you clear out or arrive at a new area where a big battle took place.

The open world map in Infinite fucking sux, its like they built the starting zone and MS said fuck it ship that as the full game. The shooting is good and all but I'd had my fill of that boring environment after a few hours.

Quote:Speaking with several sources under the condition of anonymity who are currently under embargo and couldn't speak publically about the game, McVicker's comment is the same sentiment given by everyone I've spoken to. Five individuals, who have a varying amount of time put in the game have all said that the amount of bugs they've experienced can be counted on one hand. In fact, most said one or two at most, with everyone I spoke to having put dozens of hours into the game. In addition, it was also said that almost all the bugs that were found have already been listed to be fixed in the Starfield Day 1 patch
