Can you for a moment put the hyperbole down and not clearly see how much work was put into a game like this? The art alone is incredible. Do you think they stole assets or something? The nature state of today wasn't the nature state before humans or even yts. The usage of trees gives us incentive to ensure there's gobs of them rather than clearing them out. Ever before was an overstatement as I should have qualified for settled civilization. Early man was highly destructive without the knowledge to replace the source, the only place this has really been able to be viewed is North America. Agriculture needed land for all of its history until the last century, as a result every place humans have arrived has been a place of declining tree cover. The last century has seen tree growth, which has spread beyond just North America, due to the higher efficiency of land and the incentive of not shitting where you eat. In any case, trees are not really a concern. And the forests of today look nothing like they did even pre-yts let alone pre-man. Also socialism is the thing that deforested entire mountains in China that have never recovered.

And this is a point I've raised before. It tends to be the case, when we see cis white male Democrats display even a pinch of heat, a tiny bit of paprika, it's usually followed up not just with praise (and honestly, good for them) but exasperated proclamations of "why can't Democrats have THIS energy!?" Which just has me shaking my head and thinking...which Democrats?
