That was my reaction. Looked highly dubious that was actually someone playing the game.

That's cool and all, but when will they make a new Action Man game?

Preferably a Tomb Raider clone based on this show.

Yeah, there's no way that was recorded gameplay. I can tell from some of the pixels and from seeing quite a few target gameplay renders in my time.

They probably threw a bunch of assets into Maya with a photoshop HUD template overlay and got someone to animate what it might play kind of similar to.

I'm liking the people in the Ubisoft chat going "no loading screen" when they just watched the Star Wars game equivalent of Kratos moving a log for 15 seconds to load the next scene.

Sands of Time in 2026 Dead

Quote:The game was revealed on September 10, 2020 during UbiForward

Quote:How long is Prince of Persia in The Sands of Time?

Anyone who has completed the game before can finish the game in 4 hours or maybe under. Just letting you know there are no extras to look for. The only extra is about 33% through the game where it enables you to unlock the original Prince of Persia. I completed the game in 8 hours of gameplay

I need Nintendo to save this year for me. Just drop Wind Waker on Switch. That'd be enough...

The fuck does a brand director even do? Pocket money for being an useless cunt?

Maybe cut that job and hire a competent dev so they can remake a more than 20 year old game in a normal timeframe?

I just want to say FUCK YOU to that Mixtape game for being an 80s themed game and talking about "soundtrack that defined a generation" and randomly inserting a bunch of 90s bands, and DOUBLE FUCK YOU for calling itself 'mixtape' and then having a fucking CD in a CD Player (or 'discman' as we used to call them) as its logo motif

YOU CAN'T BE NOSTALGIC FOR SHIT YOU WEREN'T EVEN ALIVE FOR

Charles Benoit should pull the stunt another Benoit pulled. The show'd finally have something interesting happening.

I love how awful the voice acting has gotten in these modern AC games. I should look up that video where the modern shit gets compared fo the old games.

They're redoing this from scratch and they're scared to death to show it early again. I don't have any inside info, I'm just telling you from how they're treating this. lol

We can revisit this conversation when the game releases and plays nothing like this video.

C'mon son!

Oh, the engine they used to film The Batman and The Mandolorian can render good looking models, textures, and environments? Wow!

People differentiate between 'realtime gameplay' and 'in engine with game assets' because there's a huge fucking difference between creating a diorama playing bespoke animations with a carefully constructed and controlled camera framing and running a real time action based game with AI, VFX, combat systems and dynamic animations all in the mix.

I'm about 20 hours into Rise of the Ronin. This is a good videogame. It doesn't even look that bad overall. Probably the best of their games I've played since the original Nioh. It is a bit like they've crammed all their old games into one big one like Elden Ring is.
