Do these people seriously think a kid is going to understand all this bullshit? Like, seriously, stop for a second and take off your homebrew HRT spectacles and think about is going on here and you think a silly kid will get what’s being discussed?
The problem with a lot of these shows is that they're created by 40 year old cartoon fans, who never matured past their tweens. They now have a mission to inject their current adult knowledge into these cartoons, but lack the media literacy to use archaic techniques such as simile and metaphor to teach lessons without tattooing it on the eyeballs of the viewer. So rather than an [cw: Greek/Latin root word] allegory that teaches people through non-literal examples, it must be extremely blatant. And that just sucks, man.
