That is not funny but worrisome.

The only funny part about it is how offended and indignant they get when cancel culture hits them, with no self-reflection whatsoever. Suddenly they abandon all their previous excuses for suppressing speech ("Free speech doesn't mean freedom from consequences!") and are now free speech advocates. But yes, the rest isn't funny.

I generally feel "an eye for an eye leaves the world blind" but as far as simply watching the hypocrisy unfold in real time...yeah

for years people were losing jobs and opportunities over incredibly dumb shit like this, and anytime anyone said "uh let's maybe not go down this road and normalize life ruination over a couple words you might disagree with," they themselves would end up on the chopping block next
