The dashed line doesn't even enclose anything. But the jut out follows the shape of the claimed territory and seems roughly in the same area (south east).

But I guess I forgot the issue was including the dashed line and not acknowledging the area in general.

It doesn't need to enclose everything or be perfectly aligned or anything.

If it looks somewhat similar and is around Asia, it represents that 9 dash line, whether intentional or not.

Both are comedy classics, although I think I prefer the 2nd one. Between Pet Detective, Dumb & Dumber and The Mask, Jim Carrey had one hell of an breakthrough year in 1994. I didn't know Rick Moranis was considered for the role, that's interesting. Love Rick Moranis but I can't see him playing Ace.

Like I'm not sure where it's lost in translation but that's my body, and the body of a not-so-insignificant amount of members here. Spat at, treated as so vile that one would need to wash their mouth out simply from having seen it. There is no degree of separation and there is no speaking to it being a thing of the past because, while you may not see a feature release do the same anytime soon, that reaction to our bodies is still extremely common in society. Not simply disliked, but rejected to the point where they are up for debate on whether they should even be allowed to exist. That is what banning healthcare results in right. So it's not so much that the scene in Ace Ventura is a thing of the past, rather it's an element of the past with a direct line to how trans bodies are seen and treated today.

I would argue that even the first Don't Breathe isn't that great. After my recent rewatch, I especially had a lot of issues with the last 25 minutes and the whole twist of the movie.

But Álvarez also made Evil Dead 2013, which is one of my favorite horror movies ever. And Calls was also very much entertaining. So yeah, like I said I guess I have mixed feelings about Fede Álvarez.

But since I generally like the Alien franchise, I'm very much willing to give benefit of the doubt to him for this one. Let's hope the quality will be closer to Evil Dead 2013.
