I hate whenever its brought up about the viablity of subsription services like gamepass you just get people here mocking you for it when its a legitimate concern given whats happened in film, tv and music.
Its not conern trolling or console warring its a valid thing to wonder about

Gamepass is cancerous AF.
Sony should never tried to match the service in any capacity unless they absolutely had to. And with the lead they have enjoyed over MS, the time to do so wasn't a year or so ago or whenever they implemented their subscription pass.

It's also unironically supporting the stereotype of black people can't swim/are afraid of water.  Usually this is because they were poor inner city kids who grew up not being around decent public pools or beaches.  Neppy grew up upper middle class, so she really has no excuse.

if everything is power structures all the way down, clearly small towns lack any substantive power

that's why they're small towns, no one there is rich, everyone is scraping by, if they were thriving they'd be slowly turning into a large town

and I don't see why era would argue against the powerless defending themselves and their culture in what ways they can
