So I work in DEI we are having to avoid certain terms now. Like we're having to avoid words like diversity and be a bit more tactical with the terms we use. Same with projects we use terms more like to expand our potential work force rather than minorities or underrepresented groups. Job titles are changing but we're still doing the same jobs we just can't be that overt.

The company I work for hired a Chief Diversity Officer circa 2021. In the following months, she was presenting at every town halls and we were getting a ton of emails about various initiatives. A few weeks ago, I realized that I haven't heard about her in over a year. I looked her up on Teams and she's gone. No company email announcing her departure. No replacement.
I assume something similar is going on at hundreds of other companies.
