I don't really care, but i still wish Firewalk or Sony would give some concrete information so we can stop talking about the budget, i get they don't want to talk about Concord after it flopped so badly, but still, would make discourse better...possibly...i hope, if they gave some actual information rather than have people outside of the studio or Sony guessing around.

This is veering very close to gamergate type of conspiracy bullshit. I feel like Sony and Firewalk can't win whatever they say. If they say something, it will be twisted to fit the narrative that people want to fit regardless.

He was carrying something heavy over his shoulder - I still don't know what - and when I walked past him apparently he decided I had the wrong "energy" so he yelled at me to get my attention, then lashed out at me and missed. He then proceeded to follow me for nine blocks, muttering and yelling homophobic slurs at me the entire way until I ducked into a bodega and hid until he walked off.

I have no idea what possessed him to ambush me or stalk me for that long, since I didn't say anything and I wouldn't even have looked at him if he hadn't yelled out at me.

Second, being a public figure is not some scientific barrier from people mispronouncing your name on accident. Same with having "public conversations" (where in the public did these conversations take place, exactly? Was every American present?)

Again, her own stans- people who are extremely excited for her and will do the same browbeating towards depressed Arabs-Americans as the next Democrat right now- will sometimes mispronounce her name on accident online and on television still. It happens.

What is important is to engage with the context around that mispronunciation to determine if you're dealing with ignorance or maliciousness, especially if you're dealing with a minority where the name "Kamala" truly is pronounced differently within their culture (because we believe in intersectionality, do we not?) But trying to weaponize this as a wholesale dog whistle in every instance, especially to reroute criticism away from Kamala's electoral history and platform, is pure deflective liberalism. It's a pure outrage tactic and, at the very least, it's not going to work on me.

So yes, what you're engaging in is clown behavior. This is the equivalent of wearing a dashiki and kneeling in the wake of George Floyd's murder. Utterly useless posturing.

Plus they know the US is backing Israel anyway. Not just militarily. If you oppose Israel you will get sanctions, your economy crippled, and also maybe bombed. Look at Iran. There are laws that not only prevent the US from doing business and trade with Iran, but the US also soft threatens OTHER countries that do with these same types of sanctions.

So on one hand BDS for Israel is banned, but the US can impose sanctions on whoever if it suits Israels interests. Amazing.
