That's the thing, they think they're essentially perfect, who needs to improve is everyone else. All they ever do is lash out at everyone else for failing them and there's always one more person that's the new problem that's holding them back from perfection. Even in this phony despair they spent how many of the posts attacking an admin they refuse to name, practically begging people to ask about it so they can attack them further in detail, centering the "abuse" as the cause of the "spiral" that they suggest is simply their intentionally chosen life.

This is the reason these types of people collect mental issues like the "psychosis" vaguely mentioned, they want excuses for their behavior not actual problems of the self to address. This requires effort and critique discovering just how wrong you are and can be. For the most part, this premise is always rejected rather than considered as relevant knowledge.

This sense of analyzing the world is why they always default to the "only solution" being some drastic scorched earth destruction of everything that others should do for them. (Or in this case, "stop" them from doing.) The suffering justifies it, I'm suffering so you should do whatever I want so I stop suffering. Since what I want is unobtainable then I'll always suffer and you should always be doing what I want.

If you think everything bad is caused by sinister outside forces you have no incentive to change the one thing that actually possibly hypothetically is in your control to change: yourself. It becomes self-justifying to frame everything as outside your control, you escape blame but also serenity, the lack of which explains your lack of control.

To all of you guys feeling sorry for 'Melody'... please save your emotions for someone who actually deserves them. 

As was mentioned earlier, there are many people actually deserving of sympathy because they have genuine, real life problems. There are war veterans, traumatised by their experiences, some homeless, who don't receive any mental help whatsoever. There are children, victims of emotional and sexual abuse, or who come from other kinds of troubled backgrounds, who live with it in silence every single day. The list of people suffering from genuine mental trauma goes on and on.

Some whiny loser growing their hair and sitting on their fat ass, streaming videogames in their filthy bedroom, is not one of those people.

'Melody' wanted a bit of attention and successfully managed to get it. Like 'hobblygobbly' (RIP) said, the entire post is full of manipulative bullshit. Who on Earth thinks to themself 'I'm about to commit suicide this very second, but let me make a thread about it first!' and then checks to see how many replies their posts are getting?

I also note, despite their promise in the post I took a screenshot of above, their Twitch has not been deleted. And, as negativecrepe mentioned above, the KoFi money hasn't been refunded either. Not surprising since it appears to have earned 'Melody' $810 so far (540% of $150 goal)

I’m sure I’ll get another ban for thread whining, but it is so exhausting to see threads like this. Why do we need to know that this movie bombed? Why does it need a thread? Why do we care?
