As other people have pointed out, and from my personal experience as a latino as well, norms vary between latin american cultures, even down to the subculture level. What may be a normal word in one (sub)culture may be explicit in another. This can also include depictions as well.

Asking "is this racist" to a bunch of Latinos with different backgrounds and bunch of white people is pointless.

 I wish people would stop being outraged for me. Speaking as a Mexican American from LA, growing up my cousins were in a very similar situation. While it wasn’t one house, it was an apartment complex. They all lived in the same complex and would absolutely spend most of their time at my grandmother’s apartment. At one point my two aunts lived across the hall from each other so it was like one house. Visiting family just meant going to the complex and seeing all my aunts, uncles, and cousins.

So to claim it’s racist bugs the shit out of me. Let us have a nice thing for once

I was asking if you are Hispanic and if you'd ever used broken Spanish in this way. It's a question. If you are Hispanic and you had spoken this way, I'd wonder what the issue is here, because you'd be familiar with this sort of off-hand usage. If you are Hispanic and you hadn't spoken in this way in your life, I'd be pretty surprised, because half the Spanish I've heard in my life is casually slung around in a way that is often improperly conjugated. That's my own experience, at least. Maybe there are people out there who speak perfect Spanish 100% of the time.

I find the idea of calling this out as "racist" for improper conjugation to be incredibly patronizing and not remotely evidenced by my own experience of the world and, clearly, the creator of this show's experience. If this doesn't track with your own experience as a Hispanic person, that's fine, but that DOESN'T make it racist, and it's just adding fuel to a CHUD fire that is attacking this poor creator.
