Look, Trump sucks ass, but I don't actually see anything in the article where it says he was selling secrets as the thread title suggests? There's the nuclear submarine armament leak getting printed again, which is bad of course and was post presidency, but everything else secret information wise seems to just be running his mouth when he was President, which it seems like he was allowed to do. The rest of it is just standard rich people doing favors for each other crap. If I missed a paragraph or something please point it out, but I'd think that'd be a bigger deal than it being buried in a story where that isn't the lead.

I always wear cologne. I wear it when I go to the grocery store, or pharmacy, or dog groomer. I have a great cologne that suits me. I have been complimented on it many times - how it complements my natural scent. My ex-boyfriend was crazy about it. I have had women ask me what it is so they can tell their boyfriends to wear it.

I know how to put it on - right after the shower, pulse lines, at the correct distance. Not too much. It's a nice cologne. Expensive.

Anyway. I was just invited to Thanksgiving dinner by a friend. I was very grateful for the invite; I love my friend and I had no plans. But the invite came with a request from her parents - "as long as he doesn't wear any cologne." My friend assures me - her parents are rural and just not accustomed to that stuff. Fair enough.

I'm not offended, only startled and bemused. I'm excited for the dinner but will feel naked. I have encountered this issue in medical settings but never at a holiday dinner. I already set a calendar note to not put any cologne on that day, but am afraid I will not see it and have to shower again because I accidentally applied cologne (it's the first thing I do after drying off). But like...once you put it on that's kind of how it is for the day, rinse or no, I might have to smoke a cigarette to counter it at that point? I'm going to be worried about this for a month. I'm concerned.

Has this happened to anyone else here?
