Honestly the older I get the more I wish I could just purchase a game to support the studio, and not actually have to play it to experience the story.

I don’t mean like, I want to watch the cutscenes only, because a lot of important world building and moments happen in conversations and dialogue while you walk through the game.

Wish there was a mode where you play the game without any actual gameplay or enemies, all QTE and let me digest The Last of Us Part II as a 5 hour interactive experience where I just walk and listen to pretty music and relax instead of having to spend 25 hours repeating the same actions and fighting the same enemies for 80% of the experience.

Just watch someone else play it on YouTube like Nepenthe did with Need for Speed: Heat?

I did this with Mortal Kombat 9-11 cutscenes and it was so much more entertaining than any of the Marvel stuff since Endgame. Legit fun as fuck and impressive amount of story stuff for what's just a fighting game.

I have never in my life had an issue with anyone I have ever worked with but this guy at my job is really starting to bug me.

I'm pretty friendly with everyone. When I first started to work here, I introduced myself and everything. I overheard him talking about a movie that I wanted to see (The Substance).

I joined the conversation and said that I was looking forward to seeing it. I tried to get him to talk about it more but he wasn't very receptive so whatever.

So over the weekend I believe, I saw the movie. At work I told him I saw the movie and loved it, but I told him I thought the end was weird. And he was like, "That's because you're a man!"

Dafuq. Last time I checked, he was a man as well.

Then today, I made my lunch….the SAME lunch I've been making since I started working here in January. I just warmed it up in the microwave.

He came up to my door and said, "Your food smells like trash. Can I close your door?"

For the record, it's literally chicken breast from a slow cooker with some seasoning.

I've tried to be friendly with him but for whatever reason, he has been cold to me during most of our interactions. I say good morning to him and everyone every morning, and his response is always a cold "good morning" with the flattest tone ever. He always asks everyone else what their weekend plans are, or what they're doing later in the evening, but never me.

As it turns out, we're both gay (I over heard him talking to another coworker), but he doesn't know I am (we were talking about something and he asked if I had a girlfriend and I say no). I thought we had some commonality there but I guess not.

He doesn't have to be my friend or whatever but I've always been on friendly terms with my coworkers. At my last job, we all went to the beach. I definitely don't see that here.

I would like to lodge a complaint about Gavin. He has been very unprofessional. Here are some recent incidents

Mon 24th Feb. 9am. I had ten boxes of business cards in my drawer and at some point Gavin replaced the title on them from Ted PlanetSmasher, Paper Salesman. To Ted Bundy, Gay Horse Whisperer. This is a waste of company time and unprofessional.

Wed 2 Apr. 10am. I heard Gavin answering his phone saying, Hello this is Ted PlanetSmasher. I can't come to the phone right now because it's nap and cookie time. This is unprofessional and makes me look bad to clients

Friday 4th Apr. 1340. I came back from lunch and discovered Gavin had photo-shopped JK Rowling's face onto my bus pass. After work the driver wouldn't let me on because he thought I was being a transphobe.

Monday 15th Apr. 1400. While I was in a meeting Gavin painted my IPhone white with liquid paper. I know it was him because I'd told him I really wanted the latest white IPhone. This is the 3rd time he has done this.

Thursday 23 Apr. 1100. During break Gavin moved my desk and all my stuff into the kitchen. Then moved the water cooler and bookshelf to where my desk was. He also replaced the photo of my wife Karen with a photo of the fridge. I had to move it all back by myself because he said he was to busy researching wasps to help.

Wednesday 4th May. 9am. Sometime last night Gavin super glued pictures of his face onto the members of the Nickleback poster I have above my desk. This is damaging personal property. I suspect he also put super glue on my desk because my arms stick to it when I try to use my computer.
