B-Dumbs, the dumbfuck, should have just allowed the forum to discuss CyberPunk 2077 and ignored Kyuuji and TranERA's bitching and catastrophizing. Now, B-Dumbs will forever have this constant whining from users to ban games because someone on the dev team is a person they don't like. The actual content in the game doesn't even matter anymore (see: Hogwart's Legacy). If a "chud" is even tangentially related to the game, you got a dozen users constant derailing thread after thread whining about why the game isn't banned.

Again, B-Dumbs made the worse decision--listening to Kyuuji--and has now forever made his job harder. What's sad and pathetic is that he seemingly either doesn't understand this or is being a coward acting dumb to save face. Either case, B-Dumbs misery is wholly self-inflicted.

I laugh when people complain about Kingdom Come 1. That game sucked. I left the initial town and then spent hours escaping my safe city and fighting still sucked when a horse got in my way.

Some people are just beyond saving.

They refuse to put in the work to improve their life and instead just wallow and soak in the misery bath they made for themselves. Ideally, you'd just leave such people to their self-destructive vices and focus on the people who actually want a better life for themselves. Yeah we are far and beyond both what was promised by the Ultimate Edition and probably what the planned support tail for the game was; especially compared to other games, it's pretty much an embarrassment of riches that we continue to get things like 5 free new/returning cars a month, new radio stations, major eventlab updates, new race routes, etc. I will gladly pay the extra $5 here and there to support those efforts, especially for something like the JDM Jewels pack which is a bunch of cool, fun lower class rarities.

People need to cool down, this thread has gotten far too heated.

The US TikTok ban is almost assuredly driven by sinophobic intent and not a desire to protect citizens from the issues with social media. That needs to be understood by everyone taking part in this discussion. What also needs to be understood is that people aren't going to like social media platforms for very valid reasons, not everyone who doesn't like tiktok is coming from the same place that the ban is coming from.

There are a lot of people, including marginalized people, who rely on tiktok to communicate, connect with others, and even to make a living. They deserve our understanding and respect. We need to acknowledge where they are coming from and recognize that this ban is going to cause them real harm.

However, there are also a lot of people, including marginalized people, who have been marginalized or hurt, both physically and otherwise, by tiktok and that should also not be ignored. There's a litany of instances where people have been wronged or hurt in many different ways and people are going to take issue with that.

The fact is that this discussion is more complicated than good or bad and we need to recognize that. However, that doesn't mean the ban is a good thing or should be happening in the slightest.

The Cyberpunk thing is funny because it was banned over a molehill that was turned into a mountain.  Underneath it all, it was absolutely nothing.  Now they have to keep up the lie and pretend there is some coherent guidelines or standard if they don't want to ban every game.  The users are right, there's no reason why cyberpunk was banned and KC2 isn't, and the staff knows there's no way to articulate a reason to its users, so they just patronize and evade them until they stop asking.  Great community.   the moral of the story is, don't be a liar and lie because you'll have to keep lying for the rest of your life to keep it up.

It’s fun because of all games Cyberpunk has remained relevant. Be it as a benchmark for new hardware or talking about the game itself or that anime. The plan of ignoring it until it goes away hasn’t exactly worked out. When they announce a port on the Switch 2, still have to pretend it doesn’t exist?
