Last night I had like 2 hours of real sleep and I had to get up early around 7, which I never do.
I haven't slept this little in like over a decade. Considering I walked about 10 miles yesterday I was pretty tired. All day I've been on this sleep deprived high but surprisingly functional. The thing is though, you have to keep going, find distractions and stay active ![]() The most tricky part was in between meetings at work, people seldom arrive on time so you're left doing nothing for 5 or 10 minutes until they enter and that's deadly. Also time in general felt like it moved slow today. Right now I'm talking to an old friend who is sending me Ghost Recon screenshots and I don't even remember how this conversation started.

A 20 minute nap will give you a couple of hours of full functionality. Don't go more than 20 minute though.

Yes, my Nvidia dip went through just as I'm finishing up lifting with the dumbbells.
Tracking my gains I've moved passed the beginners stage for my weight class. According to https://strengthlevel.com/ I'm 20% stronger than other male lifters my age. I can definitely tell my strength has improved over the last 2 months carrying stuff around and whatnot and my arms are certainly less skinny. Key was to combine weight lifting with squats. That way my back got stronger and my posture improved and that made it easier to lift heavier weights and keep doing it for a while. I'm now at the 10kg dumbbell and my goal for now is 15kg (which is also what this set maxes out at). If I reach that I would be 50% stronger than other lifters my age.

Squats, benchpress and deadlifts are your friend if you want to get stronger. Biceps curls and the rest of that shit are just for ego.

It’s all connected and you gas out some muscles before others. You don’t need a full bro split taking up a full day of arms. But if you’re doing push/bench, you’re already hitting triceps secondary to chest. Working in some tricep isolation movements that session helps. Same with bicep work during pull/back. If posture is a concern, face pulls and shrugs help a bunch. Just use lighter weights at first and focus on form. Seen people doing this stuff with their same bad posture and it’s counter intuitive.

I've never been able to confirm this myself, but I've heard pornstars say that dairy and cheese consumption can make it taste worse. Kind of makes sense.

There is literally nothing better you can do for your future prospects in all foreseeable ways than doing these three lifts + 2 others 3/4 times a week. It will change your life, guaranteed, the closest thing there is to a cheat code.

I looked into this a while back and actual biologists/doctors/bodyologists were like "what? no, it's impossible for anything to affect the taste of that, they're all completely different systems with no possible cross absorption or anything like that" now it is true that what we smell can affect what we taste, and if someone eats a lot of dairy and cheese and it's affecting the sweat through their pores... like, the smell/taste of the groin sweat, but not the glorified mucus itself

Finally hit the bar this weekend.
Not many girls around but I had some good convos. One that definitely helps with my social standing is the local tattoo guy. He does these crazy full body tattoos and is overall just a great dude to hang with that knows everyone who is anyone. He did lots of tattoos for famous MMA fighters and football players. Great get for my Instagram. Old co-worker started following me on Instagram too after I liked the story about her dog. Oh and when I was in the hospital 2 weeks ago I was prompting with this physiotherapist chick and she kept taking photos of what we were doing so I asked her if I could take pictures too and she giggled and was fine with it. When I left she walked me back to the hallway and we chatted a bit. She actually has some friends in my town. Sure enough I send her the picture I took of her prompting a few days later. Today she emailed me back out of the blue with a "teehee this is so funny" response which is not what I expected at all.

I was thinking of starting the most useless DIY channel on YT. Things like how to tell if your light bulb works. Each episode would go off into ridiculous tangents such as what sort of wiring your light socket uses. What is it composed of. What factory produced it. What foreman worked there. There would never actually be any info on how to do or fix anything. It would just be endless nonsense punctuated with 10 minute screaming rants about the neighbor's grass being too long.
