What is the overbearing CEO genre?
The genre is named after the male lead. He is a wealthy and influential person (and generally very competent, even if he was born into wealth)--typically the CEO and chairman of a huge conglomerate--with a very domineering personality. Almost always he will be overbearing toward the female lead at first, though he will mellow out later (often a lot later in the story). But even then, he is still likely domineering toward others, only showing his soft side to the female lead.

The female lead varies a bit more. Most often she is from humble background. However, it's also not very uncommon for her to be a successful businesswoman or a wealthy heiress, but even then she is far less financially successful and influential compared to the male lead.

Yes, it is a subset of Cinderella stories, but it is specific enough and popular enough that it has its own genre name.

Pride and Prejudice?
Pride and Prejudice seems to fit the genre pretty well. Darcy is the aloof and domineering male lead. At the start of the story, he is overbearing to the female lead Elizabeth. Eventually he mellows out toward her, but everyone else besides Elizabeth still finds him to be frightening. Mr. Bennett describes him as "the kind of man, indeed, to whom I should never dare refuse anything which he condescended to ask," while Mrs. Bennett is rendered almost speechless in his presence toward the end. And Elizabeth (half jokingly) describes Bingley has having received permission from Darcy to marry Jane.

Elizabeth and Darcy are both in the gentlemen class, so it's not quite the wealth and humble origins disparity. But her family has fallen on hard times, while Darcy is much wealthier and better connected, so it still works.

I agree the OP is confusing trope and genre which is a general problem with media critique, but this is also doing the same thing. If we accept Isekai itself is a full genre, it doesn't mean games and stats. The whole reincarnated in an MMO trope came later. The genre itself is far broader and encompasses anything involving getting transported to another world, reincarnation and stuck in an mmo are individual tropes within that. I think it's generally understood the structure grew out of the popularity of Alice in Wonderland.

I used to do this before they changed it about two years ago. You could get about 350ish points per day within about two minutes if you searched for like "a" and then "b," etc. at five points per search. That mixed with the points you get for just playing Xbox meant it was super easy to get the 12000 or whatever per month you need to pay for game pass. Unfortunately, they did clamp down to where searches are worth only like 1 point and the Xbox stuff is harder to get and as such, my game pass is gonna finally run out this month after having it for free for nearly six years.
