Unless you're in Philly, I probably couldn't be of much help (I've got my own operation going helping smaller Independent/Progressive candidates navigate the maze that is local level politics and its miles of red tape. Education on the processes of politics and running for things is so seldom talked about!).

Working Families Party is one of the largest of the small, pretty well represented around the country. I'd look them up if they're in your area.

But also, it doesn't have to be a traditional "party" you get involved with. There are political action committees you could likely get involved with to pressure and/or promote local candidates in your area. There are civic groups of all sorts. You just gotta look them up.

The only three I know are PSL, DSA, and SAlt. PSL is a no because they're strongly pro-dictator, DSA lost me when they praised Nicholas Maduro, and SAlt has no chapters in my area.
