I'm absolutely flabbergasted that this never gets questioned over there.

I can see the logic of the trans genocide claim which is why I accurately predicted it and mocked it a long time ago, but I can't get how this one slides past people other than not just knowing what happened in the potentially biggest politicocultural event for the West in the last century.

Era were children left behind, but to be a little fair, American education largely ignores what happened between WW1 and WW2. The WW2 lessons were watching Schindler’s List, talking about the France theater, and Pearl Harbor and the atom bombs. Italy and Russia? Why talk about them. And we’re onto the space race. The great American born and raised Wernher von Braun took us to the moon! They even named the heterosexual razor company after him!

I really hope the movie does well so as not to give chuds anymore ammunition than they already have (not that'd it'd really stop them) but I don't know, some part of me just feels like we're heading into a perfect storm of Ant-Man Quantumania part 2 in terms of how it performs given the lack of hype I've seen in a lot of places and the culture wars being waged against women in superhero media just for existing, especially if they aren't planning on delaying anything because of the strikes and can't have the main cast do any press tours to build hype.

If it does come out, hopefully positive word of mouth will give it some decent legs like Elemental.
