First time Rockstar doing a female protagonist. Mind you a female protagonist in arguably the biggest video game franchise of all time. Mind you a PoC woman at that. I mean this is huge for inclusivity right and representation in general for gaming. I don't think any game could have that type of impact that GTA 6 is going to have. Especially with GTA being viewed as a hyper-masculine series in terms of its themes and characters etc. I think it allows Rockstar many possibilities that they couldn't do if it was just more men

And the female thing was "rumored" as far back as 2018, Schreier himself in his story about the leak reported that she had been in place long ago. Something that has to be true considering how old some of the leak footage was.

Eh, difficult to get excited for this given the awful way women have been treated in this franchise. Like, based on previous history, there is absolutely zero reason to expect a female character in GTA to be well-written or even treated with a basic amount of dignity.

looking at that image, the thing that interests me is that those two look like a pretty realistic representation of actual 20-30something working class Americans (and I don't mean working class in terms of like, "white working class," I mean actual working class).

That sounds like someone that has never worked a day in his life and views this stuff like hobbies or has a very romantical view of rural life. Because like, that has absolutely nothing to do with it. GTA's writing is sexist as hell, always has been, and it's reasonable to be concerned about how a female protagonist in this franchise might be written regardless of the protagonists' morality.
