Well this certainly surprised me. The chuds seem to have completely abandoned LotF now, and are instead looking towards... Expedition 33 to be the next game for "them".

As someone who pre-ordered this a while ago, I'm actually surprised they're even optimistic about Expedition 33 considering how many females make up the main cast and they're not really being sexualized like they usually would demand.

All white men and hot women, no black people in the main cast. And sadly with the below. That is literally all it takes for them to stan it.

Zero queerness I have seen so far, many straight relationships shown at the start scene, some past opposite gender loves mentioned throughout, some only opposite gender flirting later in the game. Seems its like Metaphor, a world where queer people just don't exist. (inb4 yes I know there is no romance really in this, and none in metaphor, doesn't stop many couples/families/opposite gender flirts/mentions etc small idle heteronormativity from being prevalent in both).
FF remake had plenty of queerness/couples on the periphery, it's not hard unless you are trying to avoid it imo.

Yeah but the legal interpretation appears singularly focused on using biological sex as the determinant for access to single-sex spaces....so the primary effect is to prevent biological males from entering women-only areas and biological females from entering men-only areas, based purely on that biological classification. Aspects like sexual orientation or how one presents their gender or the way they look, whether they're adopting toxic masculine gender roles and looking masculine or reducing women down to dainty feminine looking women by presenting as that, whatever - the way you look becomes legally irrelevant for the purpose of accessing these specific spaces.  The defining factor is biological sex alone.  I don't remember all of these arguments and tension caused because women had issues with masculine-presenting butch looking lesbians using the bathroom.  So a man putting on a wig doesn't get him any more access under the eyes of the law nor does it shield him any more from the consequences of it.  Do these people want to run counter to societal progress and echo back to historical patterns where rights were limited based on superficial traits like the way you look?  Yikes.  Uh, Jim Crow?  Super yikes.

What an insane thing to say. Clearly it didn't ensure equality. Though it was better than what the South wanted. The alternative would have been that the slave states would have had even more electoral college votes and more house seats. They wanted to treat slaves as equals only when it came to demographic data so they could strengthen their power in the federal government. That being said, praising it and saying it wasn't pro-discrimination is fucked up and disgusting.

The law addresses safety concerns explicitly raised by women, not to antagonize or make people feel bad.   You're not the main character of the world.   It responds to a demand for protection rooted in feelings of insecurity based on reality.  Why a tiny minority of people refuse to consider the broader impact of infringing upon the rights of the larger group who are vocalizing their need for safety, is beyond me.  It originates from a place of protection, not malice. It exists because many women are expressing that they feel unsafe and need greater security - why does this mean nothing to them?  Only 19% of trans women claim to be exclusively attracted to men.  The reality is, women don't feel safe around biological men that have a high chance of being sexually aroused by them in their bathrooms, changing/locker rooms, battered womens' shelters, prisons, advocacy groups, transitional housing, college sororities, retreats, book clubs, the list is endless...to say nothing of the issues with their sports.    Is this a narcissistic personality disorder or do they really not understand where women are coming from?  Figure out how to present as the way you want without fucking over half of the planet, please.  Nobody has to fight with you about whether or not you're a chick, nor do you have to engage in that fight either, live how you want but also consider the security issues that women are voicing.  Both can be done at the same time -  there's no easy solution to this.   If you find it impossible to believe and feel like you're a woman while also being in male spaces, then maybe you don't actually truly believe it yourself?
