That's actually a depressing read and clearly some mental health issues for both people so I won't make fun, but I did notice the exclusive use of "they/them/their" when describing the partner.
Again, the more I read about these people's lives, the more I'm convinced it's all just undiagnosed mental health issues.
OP seems normal and their SO sounds like an addict, not crazy.

All the threads about the trailers were full of people talking shit about it too. Guess it's time to erase history again.

that fatty boom boom thread is great
'I'm miserable because of this fat idiot who doesn't care so I wanna get the fuck outta dodge'
'Have you considered therapy? I myself am a fat idiot and I'd prefer that you were miserable for the broader point'
on that note I was surprised the other day to see Turning Red on a list of biggest box office bombs
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_biggest_box-office_bombs
I guess that's just a technicality based on limited theatrical release? was it a massive success by Disney+ standards?

Quote:Rygar - Game is confusing as hell, sound is awful, boss room is basically a repeating pattern of BRRRUUUMMMMM BRUUUUMMMMM BRUUUUUMMMM noises. Combines the absolute worst elements of Zelda and Castlevania into a shit sandwhich. Neat main theme tho, you'll remember that for the rest of your fucking life.
River City Ransom - Ok, beat-em up, but better games on this list
Solomon's Key - It's an ok rip off of another puzzle game I forgot the name of
R.C. Pro-Am - Awesome game but the AI is completely broken and basically unbeatable after just a few races
Kickle Cubicle - One of my favorite games as a kid
Kung Fu - Fun but simple arcade action
Trojan - Ok'ish action game
Baseball Simulator 1.000 - Yeah uh garbage
Air Fortress - Ok shmup
Kabuki: Quantum Fighter - This is literally a romhack sequel of the Batman game
M.U.S.C.L.E. Tag Team Match - There was a time when Bandai made trash like this
Low G Man: The Low Gravity Man - Very choppy animations even for a game released in the early 90's
Life Force - One of the better NES shmups with a great boxart too, Nintex recommends
Rescue: The Embassy Mission - Neat and unique Spetznatz simulator but more of a novelty than an actual good game
Section Z - Confusing but good
3-D WorldRunner - Space Harrier clone, impressive tech tho
Jackie Chan's Action Kung-Fu - One of the 'big sprites' NES games which just means you see very little on the screen and all the processing power has been used up
Wrecking Crew - There's a reason why Nintendo pretends this doesn't exist
Dr. Chaos - Basically Goonies II with better graphics
California Games - Very fun, very weird, Nintex recommends this game
Little Nemo: The Dream Master - This is a very good MegaMan rom hack, Nintex recommends
Spy vs. Spy - Another novelty title
Donkey Kong - This is absolute trash on the NES, with even less content than the original arcade game. the Gameboy game is much better
BurgerTime - Literally a Donkey Kong clone
Kid Niki: Radical Ninja - Tried this on an emulator once because the character on the JP box looks like Goku. Trash game.
Lunar Pool - Absolute trash
Lode Runner - Lode Runner was never any good
Ikari Warriors - Very underrated, one of the first games where you can commit a genocide with 2 rambo dudes. I guess Jeff has no friends, Nintex recommends this game for people with friends. PROTIP: If you both enter the tank or helicopter at the same time and press A+B the vehicles clones into 2 tanks
Spy Hunter - This was a clone of Bump 'n Jump, fun game tho, James Bond without the license
Tiger-Heli - Average helicopter game
Captain Skyhawk - How dare you underrate Captain Skyhawk like this, you fat fuck
The Three Stooges - Trash
Classic Concentration - Should add camp to the title
Renegade - You'd think that Jeff would enjoy this river city ransom clone but maybe he had a moment of clarity
Fisher-Price: Firehouse Rescue - You literally drive a fire truck up to a window from left to right.
Deadly Towers - Basically Dark Souls 1987
Athena - Princess Athena fights monsters in her panties, what is not to like 10/10
Even for a shit poster on a shit tier message board, this is total and undeniable shit.
I played Ikari warriors for hours as a kid with my cousin. Good times!

I fully expect news to come out in a few years that completely counters this, not because I have any strong feelings about the film but because this always happens at era
they mistake marketing bullshit intended to cheerlead fans for the kind of data that informs the decisions at large companies
maybe the core people involved in creating the movie will be fired, maybe some higher-up will make a public statement that they're moving away from such films
and era will say "what?! but that's so stupid! it was one of the most viewed films ever! that doesn't make any sense, they're throwing money away!"
They have no problem dismissing studio released viewership or any other metrics whenever it's something they don't like. Or deciding that it's somehow not the viewers that anyone cares about.

Isn't one of the "smoking guns" that Fallon mocked something in front of some celebrity?
This isn’t explicitly about Fallon. There’s this thing people do when a celebrity is in the nascent stages of the disgrace cycle. They prop up a different celebrity in that same genre. So, Conan in this instance. And I really like Conan. It’s not explicitly about him either. But you’re setting people up to fail this Christ like status you thrust upon them.
If by some chance Conan happens to detonate a dirty bomb during a remote in a Brazilian favela, killing thousands. Some dickhead will be like “hmm there was always something off about him. Pimpbot 5000 was super problematic! Always preferred Kimmel.”

Furthermore, you need to ask people to imagine what true security means beyond the presence of guns and handcuffs. You also need to change attitudes about crime, specifically what should constitute crime in the first place, what punishment looks like, and how we handle rehabilitation. You also need Americans to actually become more sociable, loving, and beholden to the welfare of their fellow man, versus giving in to the isolation and mistrust that capitalism bestows on us.
We fundamentally need a society that prevents crime from even happening as often as it does in the first place, meaning massive investments into education, job security, our agriculture and healthcare industries, public amenities and third spaces, strict gun control, and even reparations. We need to delegate more of our community issues back to ourselves as good stewards, or to specialized caretakers who can handle problems with the appropriate knowledge and tact, like mental health professionals.
The police should, ultimately, be a last resort in any issue, and I would argue regular beat cops shouldn't even be armed in a functioning society. An easy rebuttal would be "who do you call in a mass shooting?" And I would simply retort that why are you continuing to imagine a society where there are more mass shootings than days in the year.
