Of all the usual resetera subjects that we post here is Kyuuji the only one that never been banned? Even pests like incelchief and visawife get slap on the wrist bans from time to time but kyuuji seems imune tot even that.

Recently I've decided that I'm kind of done with the constant ads / monetisation, algorithms that push far-right content, the infinite scrolling stuff to keep you hooked, and all the other things that come with the bigger social media outlets. I would like to slowly start to transfer to some alternatives if possible. My biggest time sinks at the moment are probably Reddit and YouTube which I use for news and keeping up with various interests.

As far as I can see, a carefully curated RSS feed for news could be a good option, and I also plan on checking out Mastodon, which seems a little bit confusing but I'm sure I'll figure it out. I'm a big advocate of open source software and I try to contribute when I can, so any options that are open source are immediately a big plus for me. Would love to hear your suggestions!

Marvels is, in my personal opinion, not "amazing". But I've had personal conversations with folks who haven't seen the movie who hear my measured response and then say; "so it deserves to be doing as well as it is at the box-office", and I'm like; no!

I'm ok being in a world where a film simply didn't click with others. It happens. I'm not going to say people have to like something. Just like people shouldn't feel bad for liking something either (unless it's things that actively punch down or cause harm by existing)

The problem is that there's a lot of individuals who have been waiting for tides to change and the right moment where they could pile on things that couldn't do that before. So no, we can't live in that world.

Just a glance at the previous page and I see some attempting to reason with Punk stans. Don't bother. It's the same thing as Trumpers. They know who Punk is. They know what he's done wrong.
