Don't give me dictionary definitions of racism and come at me calling me a bigot. "Racist against white people" is not a thing. The fact that you think it is a thing tells me you don't know what the fuck you're talking about.

Yes, it can be totally a thing. Not only white people can be racist against other white people, but they can suffer from racism in countries were they are not a majority (see Japan).

To be blunt, much of this stems from the ephemeral definition of “white” used to denigrate or promote an array of races and ethnicities. A lazy americanism.

They tend to do it a lot. Why “brown” came to define Mexicans, Hindu, Pakistani, Polynesian, North African, etc. How Americans tend to lump East Asians in one bunch. Famously, the Chinese, Japanese, and Koreans always got on well. How they can’t fathom black people (Hutu) being racist against black people (Tutsi). How Greeks are considered “white” while Turkish are considered “brown”. There’s too much nuance and complication in the world for people whose politics can’t evolve past Star Wars.

As for being an outsider in Japan, honestly, aside from hearing stories of not wanting to rent to foreigners, it’s like micro micro aggressions. Although the other day two large Japanese gentlemen yelled “this is MNGA Country!” and attacked me.

UPDATE: Been looking into books about whether the collective nation of Jewish people are white or not, the very very angry scholars have no consensus on this matter but agree with Nepenthe that Jews need to go back where they belong (location undetermined) while ending their explotaition and oppression of everyone else.

Also finding conflicting information on the whiteness of Catholics and Slavs. Will keep everyone posted on my research per gblues' advice so everyone knows what the fuck they're talking about.

Our posts on this forum could be shared too. This isn't the equivalent of getting doxxed or anything. When you're posting on social media there isn't anything to prevent someone else from sharing it. Whether you think it's moral or ethical to do so is up to you. To me it's all fair game when we're willing to put our user names and what we want to say online for all to see. Otherwise we'd all be posting even more anonymously.

The problem with that is no single person should be responsible for all of that and no person can be. A thread isn't a replacement for therapy. And what happens if the person in question becomes responsible for setting someone off as a result of not being sensitive enough or just being fed up? Random users aren't licensed medical professionals and don't know how to handle this stuff. We do have someone on staff with this sort of training, but asking them to do this would be way too far and totally unfair.

You guys need to understand, there's limits to what we can do.
