Average age on ERA is probably approaching 40 with that number only climbing higher. It's easier than ever for communities that started there to set up a Discord or alternate forum, which has happened numerous times already.

Oh... yeah, I'm the person Harada quoted here. I was trying to get his attention because of how much of an issue it is. But I deleted my tweet and a few others because I started getting questionable replies after Harada quoted me, and I wanted to avoid any potential harassment. Some of my tweets are cited by Ian too.

I'm both partially colorblind and prone to migraines and seizures, and this feature isn't terribly useful for it's intended purpose. It adjusts the game world to how we as colorblind people see it already. Which means turning it on is like a simulation of colorblindness, rather than an actual aid.

The real danger however is this specific combination here. The Mask Filter/Pattern Display is very strong, and can cause vertigo, migraines, and seizures in people who are suspectable in them, even if you've never been suspectable before. It shouldn't be included in the game, and is absolutely useless for the intended purpose that Harada thinks it's for.

I've been visiting my parents' place over the past couple of weeks for the holidays. For the longest time they've had ant issues throughout the house, but I've usually was able to ignore it up until now (although a couple of meals have been ruined due to this, and the pantry is basically a no-go zone at this point). I've told them over and over again to fumigate the place but they keep saying they don't want to harm the pets.

Anyways, last night it seems that a good number of ants decided to crawl up the night-table by my bed and take up residence in my laptop. I didn't notice it until this evening when I first turned it on for the day, but for the past few hours I've had to flick away about 20 ants randomly crawling across my keyboard. It's honestly horrifying to think so many have crawled into it and I have no idea how many are left.

How can I drive them out? I need them all gone before I head back home on Wednesday because I do not want to bring an ant infestation back to my house.
