I heavily curate my view history and for a ton of things I want to check out but don't want in my history, I use incognito mode without being signed into my account.

I don't login to watch stuff and use a bunch of plug-ins to stop Youtube from showing anything in the sidebar, autoplay stuff and showing recommendations.

Whenever my browser updates (and the plug-ins don't) I am treated to Youtube's pushing monstrous shit to me.

I remember google a song by The Polish Ambassador and the first, the fucking first, recommendation was a video about Nigel Farage (who is a word that can't be said here) titled "Nigel Farage expertly DESTROYS Feminazi" then a Joe Rogan clip with some other red faced man, something about how to make a ninja star from tins of beans (or cans of something) and then finally another Polish Ambassador song.

I highly recommend blocking everything you can on Youtube. Sure you might miss some actual recommendations but it's worth it.

Are Mr Beast threads on era ever going to stop being a saltmine? 

No standard game show is going to gather this many people together and pit them against one another with such a drastic division between rewards and ages. This was a load of people who all could have genuinely used the award that was offered and they were pitted against each other like animals. And then for it to come down to the final two people and the second place person only getting $10,000 compared to what the first place person got? A surprising amount of practical effects and animatronics puppetry (Legacy Effects) , like on Jonathan, made me like this way more. There is some good action and the cinematography by Barry Peterson (21 Jump Street) is the MVP here with lots of creative shots like the mirror rotating tilt shot (some fun oners too) and visual comedy.

It's quite a wholesome adventure, with some funny one liners from Chris Pine's witty planner of a character, but also some gruesome violence when needed like the effects of a gelatinous cube on a person.

Even though Michelle Rodriguez is typecast as the brute, here she gets to have a parental role and some flaws to make her more rounded. It follows predictable beats but is just solid enough that the 2.5hr runtime flies by. The director duo of Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley (yup the Freaks and Geeks guy) does solid work here with a lot of appreciation for the IP much on the level of Lego Movie. Another film with a very cool pop-up book end credits animation sequence! It's not going to stick in my head long after, but it's just a bit of blockbuster fun at the cinema.
