Honestly, the bananas here in the USA are indeed pretty bad. I didn't know it, either, until I had bananas in the Philippines and tasted what they're supposed to taste like. I'll still eat them here, but man, ours are garbage in comparison.

This is a pretty important statement. Not only are they calling for a ceasefire, they are also calling for the end of financial aid to Israel.

Especially important as the US is getting ready to send more bombs and other weapons to Israel.

Folks need to understand Palestine is no longer an issue just for Arabs or Muslims or even leftists anymore.

I think there's a middle ground where Biden can put benchmarks that Israel would have to meet before getting aide.

There is almost certainly a way to thread the needle that does not incur most of those repercussions. Such as not pulling all support for Israel, but ceasing or placing meaningful conditions on offensive weapons aid that pressure Israel to stop slaughtering civilians.

They really think 0.005% of Israel's GDP is huge leverage.

There's a huge difference between showing that in a random high school class (as has happened in France and elsewhere) [which] is a targeted attack against our faith and identity
